1. Frustration from not being able to greet the other dog or person because they are confined to the leash

3. They might see a small dog as prey

I will teach you 

1. How to evaluate your dog's body language so that you can keep them under their emotional threshold on your walks
2. Skills needed for walking and focusing on you 
3. Managing your dog's everyday environment to reduce overall stress
4. Modifying your dog's behavior and emotional response to their triggers on walk
5. Make walking enjoyable again for you and your dog. 

Experiencing behavioral issues with your dog and need help changing or managing the unwanted behavior? Is your dog fearful, or aggressive, or has bitten before? I will come to your house to perform a behavioral evaluation, provide you with initial management techniques to reduce the problem behavior and start you on the path of modifying the behavior that needs to be changed. 

Any dog that needs to learn basic behaviors for living in a human world. Training sessions can be customized to you and your dog's preferences or needs. Some of the basic foundation behaviors would include targeting, name recognition/eye contact, recall, leave it, take it, drop, waiting at a boundary (not running out of a doorway), sit, down, go to bed, settle in crate, loose leash walking, heeling and tying everything together with structured play. These behaviors would also be generalized by performing them in different locations, different body positions and further proofed by adding distance, duration, and distractions. 

These sessions are for dogs who are 8 - 20 weeks old.  We will begin the process of learning all the foundation behaviors at a pace that your puppy can keep up with. We can address any type of puppy issue like nipping and house training and also learn how to read your puppy's body language so that you can pick up on the subtle signs of your dog being stressed. We will also begin to socialize your puppy with everything in their environment which is crucial to start prior to the 14-16 weeks of age-critical socialization window closing. Puppies that are properly socialized will be more likely to accept new experiences without overreacting to them with fear or aggression.  

Individual sessions: $180 per hour

Packages: 

• 3 sessions for $510 ($170 per session)
• 6 sessions for $960 ($160 per session)

Note: 

A $1 per minute travel charge for round trips over 30 minutes may be applied to individual training sessions and packages.
